Happy Birthday to the most wonderful 3-year-old in the world! It is hard to believe it's only been three years. It feels like Rayna has been a part of our lives forever. She has grown from a tiny, beautiful baby to a sweet, funny, beautiful big girl. Here are 36 pictures for 36 months. It sounds like a lot, but it was so hard to pick them! Three years old!!!
At three years old Rayna loves:
- Playing with her toys. She pretends with her little animals all the time. She has a core "crew" of stuffed animals that usually star in her playtime: Bolt the dog, Cora the kitty, Medium Pluto (another dog, of course), and Colorful the bunny. Other toys rotate in and out, but those four are always around.
- MILK. She is a picky, picky eater, who goes days without willingly eating a meal, and would drink milk in lieu of food any time, any place.
- Kim (Korean seaweed paper). She may not eat much, but she'll never turn down a piece of crunchy salty seaweed.
- Playing games. She is an expert at Memory, and is getting the hang of Go Fish and Candyland too. Car rides have gotten smoother since she learned how to play I Spy and "Fun Guess," which she made up, and actually really is fun. :)
- Going to her Nursery class at church. A year and a half ago, she screamed herself hoarse when we tried to leave her in Nursery. Now she talks about it during the week and can't wait to go on Sundays.
- Danny. These two love each other so much. Rayna takes especially good care of Danny (as long as he's not making a move on Bolt, Cora, Pluto, or Colorful). I love to see them reaching between their seats to hold hands in the car, or sharing treats, or chasing each other around the house. Rayna adores getting Danny up from his naps. She's a great sister.
